We re-use and recycle our packaging and we never air-freight anything. Ever. We've designed our whole business to be good for the environment - that's why we're called the greener grocer. In practice, it means we look after nature by only selling organic or, finding options for things where there are no organic standards, like wild fish. We give loans and support to organic farmers. We are using less energy by focusing on seasonal foods, by keeping food miles down, by collecting from our farms and delivering to you on fixed days. We keep waste down by sending you minimum packaging, by collecting it for reuse, by using reusable crates from our farms, by giving away leftovers, and by composting leftover leftovers. We recycle everything else. We keep pollution down by use green electricity, by experimenting with alternative fuels for our vans, and by never air freighting. Ever.
